課程概述

COURSE DESCRIPTION

GRAMMAR:

- Basic agreements subject-verb, noun-determiners, noun-adjective.
- Genre and number (general uses). Agreement with "gente" (peoples).
- Distinguish proper and common nouns and their morphosyntactic working.
- The most usual cases of article uses/omissions.
- Demonstratives, possesives.
- Numbers, quantifiers.
- Subject personal pronouns. Tú / usted.
- Basic uses of direct/indirect personal pronouns.
- Distinguish "ser / estar" (basic uses); "hay/estan" and; "haber/tener".
- The most usual pronominal verbs.
- Likes: use of "gustar" (to like) and "parecer" (it seems to someone).
- Indicative tenses and their most usual uses.
- The most usual verbal periphrasis: "ir a + infinitive" (be going to); "tener que + infinitive" (have to); "estar + gerund" (be + gerund).
- Interrogative and exclamative sentences.
- Introduction to question-answer, asking and order expressions.
- The most usual prepositions, conjunctions and link words.
- Negation: "no" (don't, doesn't); "ni" (nor); "sí/no" (yes/no); "también" (too); "tampoco" (neither).

LISTENING COMPREHENSION:

- Understand questions ans simle instructions.
- Identify the topic of a conversation done in a standard Spanish and in a slow pace although it's possible the student can not understand all the details.
- Understand a conversation about known topics, asking clarifications and repetitions.
- Understand messages related to personal information, school, leisure, and needs if they are expressed clearly and in a slow pace.
- Understand the global idea of short stories with the use of images and activities.

READING COMPREHENSION:

- Understand simple personal letters, recognizing the communicative purpose.
- Understand notes and messages related with their activities.
- Undertand simple real S 

課程目標
Aim of the course:
The main aim of this course is that students reach A2.1 levels of the Common European Framework.
A2.1 Spanish command level means the student is able to:
- Produce short and usual sentences for concrete and simple needs.
- Use basic syntactic structures (sentences, groups of words and formulaic language) in order to refer to him/hem self or other people; to talk about activities he/she does; to describe places, etc.
- Have a limmited repertoire of short sentences for predictible situations.

Week 1
2/22,2/24  Tuesday 22/02/2011:
We corrected the final exam of the first semestre (you can download the exam with the answers and the listening).
Later we listen the song "Me gustas tu" by Manu Chao and you have to complete the gaps. Finally I explained the vocabulary and some structures of the lyrics. You can download the song, the music video, the lyrics and the gap lyrics.
Thursday 24/02/2011:
We do exercise 7, on page 49. Later I explain vocabulary. Later, you have to describe your partners' clothes. Next on, you have to explain what clothes you wear at class/ in a date/ at home/ in the disco... Later, we make exercise 13 (photocopy, you can download, file name: "ropa suena 1"). Later, we do exercise 14, a listening (photocopy, you can download, file name: "ropa suena 1", you can also download the listening, file name: ejecicio 14). Homework: ejercicio 18 from file "ropa suena 2". It's a listening (the listening part is "ejercicio 18.mp3").
MATERIALS FOR THE COMING CLASS, PLEASE, DOWNLOAD THEM:

Week 2
3/01,3/03  March 1st:
We corrected exercise 18 of the file "ropa suena 2". I explained vocabulary and some verbs which work like gustar (me va bien, me queda mal, le esta estrecho). Later we did ejercicio 19 of "ropa suena 2" (it's a dialogue but the sentences are in disorder so you have to arrage the dialogue). Finally you have to make a role play: one of you it's a shops assistant and the other one is a customer. You had to buy three pieces of clothing and when it's over you had to exchange your roles. Homework: you have to do exercise 6 of the book (on page 48)
March 3rd:
We corrected exercise 6 on page 48. Later, we did exercise 7 (part b) on page 49. Next on, we did exercise 8 on page 49. Later, we read the text of exercise 14 (on page 51). Finally, we did exercise 21 of the book (on page 53). Homework: you have to describe the clothes of your father and your mother.
